  • This exciting Learnership Programme offers an opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience, develop critical business skills, and contribute to a leading African financial services organisation in one of the following environments:

Insurance Risk & Execution Environment

  • Support the monitoring and quality assurance of banking application forms submitted through the branch network. Learners will help ensure applications are accurately completed, comply with required standards and meet operational and regulatory requirements.

Insurance Servicing Environment

  • Assist in the administration and servicing of Funeral and Credit Life policies, including policy amendments, customer enquiries, refund processing, and the resolution of servicing-related matters.

Insurance Retention Services

  • Engage with policyholders considering policy cancellation, understand their needs, address concerns, and support customer retention through effective service and relationship management.

Multi-Channel Service & Sales Environment

  • Support existing clients through various service channels while contributing to indirect sales activities and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Fraud Detection Environment

  • Gain exposure to fraud monitoring and detection activities aimed at identifying suspicious transactions, mitigating financial losses, protecting customers and strengthening the bank's fraud risk management capabilities.

Multi-Channel Sales & Customer Activation Environment

  • Participate in initiatives that support customer acquisition, product activation, relationship building and employer-led banking programmes. Learners will develop customer engagement, sales and business development capabilities within a performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Be a person with a disability.
  • Have a completed Diploma, Degree, or equivalent NQF qualification.
  • Be currently unemployed and available to participate in a full-time learnership programme.
  • Not currently registered on any other learnership
  • Not be studying full/part-time studies that may conflict with work hours
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop within the financial services sector.
  • Have basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Programme Details

  • Start Date: 15 November 2026
  • End Date: 30 April 2028
  • Stipend: R10 000 per month plus medical aid
  • Location: Johannesburg
  • Contract: Fixed Term – 18 months
