A reputable company is seeking two General Workers with Electrical Experience to join their team on a fixed-term, project-based contract in Stellenbosch. The successful candidates will assist with electrical and other technial/electrical installation projects, providing support to technicians and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Technicians and Electricians with daily installation activities.
- Support the installation of commercial HVAC and electrical systems.
- Pull cables, mount equipment, and assist with electrical wiring where required.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials on site.
- Prepare work areas and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with drilling, mounting, and basic mechanical installation tasks.
- Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor and Team Leader.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform general labour duties as required to support project completion.
- Report any hazards, damages, or safety concerns immediately.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a construction, electrical, or other technical environment.
- Basic electrical knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work on a fixed-term, project-based contract in Stellenbosch .
