Key Responsibilities / Hoofverantwoordelikhede

• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

• Lead by example by also working and helping team memebers where needed.

• Plan and manage the work through the workshop and installations.

• Communicate with the logistics person to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time.

• Give guidance towards technical aspects of the manufacturing and assembly of the machinery and equipment.

• Laise with customers with regards installations.

• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct risk assessments, preparing safety files for site work, and enforcing safety rules during installations.

• Ensure that work is completed by the workshop on time and to the required quality standard, with the ability to perform and assist with site installations independently with the team.

• Conduct housekeeping and tool management

• Manage overtime and controlling associated costs.

• Interact with clients and suppliers for planning for installation.

• Visit customers where required for repairs

• Manage leave arrangements for workshop personnel.

• Beplan en bestuur die werk deur die werkswinkel en installasies.

• Kommunikeer met die logistieke persoon om te verseker dat onderdele betyds bestel en afgelewer word.

• Verskaf leiding met betrekking tot tegniese aspekte van die vervaardiging en samestelling van masjinerie en toerusting.

• Skakel met kliënte rakende installasies.

• Verseker nakoming van wetlike en regulatoriese vereistes.

• Voer risiko-assesserings uit, berei veiligheidslêers vir terreinwerk voor en handhaaf veiligheidsreëls tydens installasies.

• Verseker dat werk betyds en volgens die vereiste gehaltestandaarde deur die werkswinkel voltooi word, met die vermoë om onafhanklik saam met die span terreininstallasies uit te voer en te help waar nodig.

• Voer huishouding en gereedskapbestuur uit.

• Bestuur oortyd en beheer gepaardgaande kostes.

• Werk saam met kliënte en verskaffers vir beplanning van installasies.

• Besoek kliënte waar nodig vir herstelwerk.

• Bestuur verlofreëlings vir werkswinkelpersoneel.

Minimum Requirements / Minimum Vereistes

• A millwright or megatronic qualification will be advantageous

• At least 5 years of experience will be preferred

• Welding, Sheetmetal, miling and turning skills

• Knowledge of general mechanical systems such as conveyors, structures, frames, bearings etc.

• Resonable knowledge of automated machinery, how to assemble and maintain it and general workings of machinery

• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills

• Knowledge of Solid Works will be advantageous

• Good knowledge of pneumatics and sensors will be highly advantageous

• Basic knowledge of control systems such as sensors and basic wiring will be advantageous

• Own reliable transportation and vehicle

• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure

• Willigness to do research. learn and adapt to changes

• Wilingess to grow to a higher role

• Ability to work in a small team

• Kennis van algemene meganiese stelsels soos vervoerbande, strukture, rame, laers, ens.

• Redelike kennis van outomatiese masjinerie, hoe om dit saam te stel en te onderhou, asook algemene werking van masjinerie.

• Basiese Microsoft Word- en Excel-vaardighede.

• Kennis van Solid Works sal voordelig wees.

• Goeie kennis van pneumatiek en sensors sal hoogs voordelig wees.

• Basiese kennis van beheerstelsels soos sensors en basiese bedrading sal voordelig wees.

• Eie betroubare vervoer en voertuig.

• Vermoë om sperdatums te bestuur en onder druk te werk.

• Bereidwilligheid om navorsing te doen, te leer en by veranderinge aan te pas.

• Bereidwilligheid om na ’n hoër rol te groei.

• Vermoë om in ’n klein span te werk.
