WORKSHOP ADMINISTRATOR Johannesburg
We are looking for a professional, customer-focused Workshop Administrator to join a busy automotive workshop environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and manage workshop service bookings and customer appointments.
- Welcome customers and assist with the vehicle check-in process.
- Liaise with customers, technicians, workshop staff and parts departments.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and provide regular updates on vehicle repairs.
- Communicate changes to repair estimates, costs and completion times.
- Advise customers on vehicle servicing and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate insurance repair authorisations where required.
- Conduct booking confirmations, follow-ups and contact no-shows to reschedule appointments.
- Maintain accurate customer and CRM information and contact customers when services are due.
- Promote additional products and services where appropriate.
- Ensure vehicles, keys and workshop documentation are handled correctly.
- Process administrative duties, including ensuring payments are received correctly.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and CSI.
- Ensure compliance with workshop procedures and manufacturer standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Previous experience dealing with customers, preferably within an automotive workshop environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Customer-centric and professional approach.
- Well-presented and organised.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel .
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
