Duties & Responsibilities

Join a team responsible for designing, implementing and supporting the technologies that power the employee experience across a large enterprise environment. As a Workplace Technology Engineer, you'll help shape how people interact with technology, drive automation and continuous improvement, and contribute to innovative workplace solutions that enhance productivity and business outcomes. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working across multiple technology domains, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, and continuously expanding their technical skill set. What you'll be doing

• Design, implement and maintain workplace technology solutions. • Support and optimise enterprise endpoint management environments. • Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and end-user computing issues. • Implement infrastructure changes and enhancements using a risk-based approach. • Develop and maintain automation solutions using scripting and modern tooling. • Contribute to AI-assisted engineering and automation initiatives. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Engage with technology vendors and service providers to evaluate, implement and support solutions. • Maintain compliance, security and operational standards across workplace technologies. • Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures. • Contribute to technology innovation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum requirements Qualifications:

• Grade 12. • Relevant IT certification or qualification. • Azure Fundamentals, AWS Practitioner or equivalent certification advantageous. • Exposure to Azure Active Directory (EntraID) and similar technologies. Experience

• 3+ years' experience supporting and implementing end-user computing technologies in an enterprise environment. • Experience with endpoint management platforms and enterprise device ecosystems. • Experience implementing and supporting workplace technology solutions. • Exposure to change-controlled, production enterprise environments. • Technical knowledge • Working knowledge of: • AI-based solutioning and engineering in similar roles. • Microsoft Windows environments. • macOS and Linux environments. • Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID and Group Policy. • Endpoint Management technologies (Example: SCCM, Endpoint Configuration Manager, JAMF). • Identity and Access Management concepts. • Endpoint security, compliance and device management. • Microsoft 365 services. • Networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP. • Scripting using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript or similar technologies. Advantageous experience Experience with any of the following will be beneficial:

• AI-assisted scripting and automation. • GitHub Copilot or similar AI development tools. • REST APIs and systems integration. • Observability and monitoring tools. • Virtual desktop technologies. • SharePoint Online. • Automation platforms and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling. • Microsoft 365 Copilot. • AI governance, security and responsible AI practices.
