WMS BUSINESS ANALYST (Parow Industria)

Introduction

An established organisation is seeking a WMS Business Analyst to support warehouse systems, improve operational processes, and translate business requirements into effective system solutions. The role will work closely with warehouse teams, IT, software providers, and project teams to ensure reliable WMS performance and continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyse WMS data to identify operational issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.

• Support system configuration, enhancements, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Translate warehouse requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Provide WMS support to users and manage system-related queries and projects.

• Analyse warehouse processes and recommend system automation and efficiency improvements.

• Support system integration with ERP, WCS, and other warehouse technologies.

• Provide reporting and insights to support operational and investment decisions.

• Use AI tools to improve reporting and daily warehouse operations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience working with WMS platforms such as SAP EWM, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or Oracle.

• Strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain processes.

• Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of system integrations using APIs, EDI, or flat files.

• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

• Experience with warehouse technology such as RF scanners, printers, voice picking, and automated equipment.

• Jira experience will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
