Westend Motors is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Driver / PDI Clerk to join our growing LDV Durban dealership.
If you take pride in preparing vehicles to the highest standard, enjoy working in a fast-paced dealership environment, and have previous motor industry experience, we'd like to hear from you.
Minimum Requirements ✅ Previous motor dealership Driver / PDI Clerk experience (preferred)
✅ Motor industry experience is ESSENTIAL
✅ Valid Code 08 Driver's Licence
✅ PDP will be advantageous
✅ Clean driving record with no endorsements
✅ Good mechanical knowledge
✅ Ability to perform vehicle quality inspections
✅ Computer literate
✅ Honest, reliable and punctual
✅ Excellent attention to detail
✅ Able to work under pressure
✅ Traceable references
Key Responsibilities • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on all new and used vehicles
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned, fuelled and delivery-ready
- Perform final quality control inspections before customer delivery
- Deliver and collect vehicles from customers, suppliers and licensing authorities
- Maintain accurate PDI records and documentation
- Assist with licensing, registration and vehicle paperwork
- Report any defects or damage immediately
- Maintain vehicle stock presentation and yard standards
- Assist the sales and service departments where required

Important Motor industry experience is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
