WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Operate forklift as per work instruction WI-SHEMS-1
- Loading from the warehouse to 3rd party warehouses and production areas/ waste areas and offloading of stock to the warehouse.
- Transportation of stock/consumables
- Housekeeping / 5S on site.
- General tasks when required
- Loading of production stock onto Depalletizer and removal of product from palletizer to finished goods areas
- Stock centralization at the warehouse
- Stock verification for stock take preparation as required
- Ensure safety of equipment, fellow workers, products and property .
- Ensure daily return of returnable materials and return of reject materials within 5 working days as per the SOP
- Participate on stock take and cycle counts.
- Participate on MECP activities
- Housekeeping and 5S
WHAT YOU WILL BE MEASURED ON
- Conforming materials are received
- Housekeeping and stock record accuracy.
- Reliable oracle records for MRP run.
- No material damage
- Stock record accuracy
- MECP/ 5S's roll-out
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric/ grade 12 Mathematics and Physical Science – desired
- 1 year in a manufacturing environment preferably FMCG
- Valid Forklift Drivers licence
