- Multi Green Pty Ltd is a leading fertiliser blending and distribution company based in Villiers, Free State, and has been partly owned by VKB Landbou Pty Ltd since 2019. Since 2005, Multi Green has specialised in the precision blending and distribution of both liquid and granular fertilisers, earning a strong reputation within the agricultural and fertiliser industries.
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Weighbridge Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate weighing of incoming and outgoing loads, maintaining weighbridge administration, and supporting the efficient movement of products across the operation.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate NQF Level 4
- Previous experience operating a weighbridge is essential
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding operational environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work overtime, shifts, weekends, and extended hours when required
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh all incoming and outgoing vehicles on a daily basis
- Ensure all weighbridge transactions and records are captured correctly
- Manage and maintain all weighbridge-related administration
- Investigate and assist with weight-related queries and discrepancies
- Monitor weighbridge accuracy through routine testing and record results in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements
- Communicate with production teams regarding product returns, weight variances, and operational requirements
- Ensure the correct product documentation and weighbridge tickets are issued for loading and dispatch
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised weighbridge office, gate area, and surrounding work environment
- Assist with the training and guidance of seasonal employees during peak periods
- Support other operational departments, including production and mixing plants, when required
- Report equipment faults, operational concerns, and safety risks to the relevant supervisor
- Carry out general operational duties assigned by management
- Operate all equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Basic computer proficiency

- Understanding of health and safety requirements, including PPE compliance
- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- High level of accountability and attention to detail
