Qualifying Criteria
- Grade 10, 11 or Matric certificate
- Additional certification in logistics or operations management is advantageous.
- Previous experience as a Weighbridge Operator or in a similar role preferred but not essential.
- Strong numerical, record-keeping, and data entry skills.
- Basic computer literacy experience with weighbridge software is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording weights and information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to weighing operations.
- Flexibility is required and essential able to work cycle of shifts
- South African Citizenship
- Clear Criminal Record
Responsibilities
- Follow up on daily truck orders and audit daily inspection.
- Weighing trucks from entry and exit and ensuring efficient data entry.
- Periodically inspecting the weighing devices to ensure workflow.
- Preparing a report in which the weight and number of trucks loaded for each shift are recorded.
