The client operates a retail Webstore that sells products online to customers. It offers online shopping, order processing, and customer support services.

The Role: Webstore Sales Consultant

The Webstore Sales Consultant supports customers throughout their online shopping journey, from product selection and quotation requests to cart creation, payment, and order completion. The role exists to guide customers and proactively convert opportunities generated through abandoned orders, failed payments, saved quotations, and new leads. Main focus areas include delivering customer service, converting sales, and maintaining accurate order information.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Bring relevant sales, retail, customer service, call centre, or eCommerce experience if available.

Assist customers by telephone, email, and WhatsApp with product selection and online purchasing.

Create quotations and online shopping carts on behalf of customers.

Guide customers through ordering, payment, and checkout processes.

Respond promptly and professionally to new leads.

Follow up on abandoned orders, failed payments, and saved quotations to improve conversion.

Understand customer needs, recommend suitable solutions, and overcome objections.

Maintain accurate customer, quotation, and order information while working towards agreed targets.

Desired Experience & Qualification

About You

Matric / Grade 12 qualification.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.

Strong computer literacy and ability to learn products, systems, and processes quickly.

High attention to detail.

Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.

Confident, resilient, self-motivated, organised, and accountable.

Previous sales, retail, customer service, call centre, or eCommerce experience preferred.
