Our client is seeking a Web3 Accountant to join their innovative finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is excited by technology, enjoys working in fast-paced environments, and has a genuine interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital finance. The successful candidate will support financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance activities while gaining exposure to cutting-edge technology and the future of financial ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports

• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes

• Assist with financial reporting and reconciliations

• Monitor and account for digital asset transactions

• Support compliance and audit requirements

• Analyse financial data and provide reporting insights

• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives

• Collaborate with technical and operational teams

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education

• BCom Accounting, Finance, or related qualification

• CA(SA) advantageous

Experience

• Newly Qualified CA(SA) or

• Minimum 2 years' accounting experience

• Exposure to financial reporting and reconciliations

• Experience within technology, fintech, crypto, or startup environments advantageous

Skills

• Strong Excel skills

• Financial reporting

• Analytical thinking

• Technology-driven mindset

• Interest in blockchain, Web3, cryptocurrency, and AI

• Strong problem-solving abilities
