Salary: R30 000
Our client is seeking a suitable qualified Web Developer in the Communications Department in Pretoria East.
Key Objectives: • Design, develop implement, test, maintain and enhance dynamic and interactive E-Business systems within an open source environment (PHP, MYSQL, Java Script, HTML etc according to applicable legislation and standards. • Upgrade existing applications, components, and E-Commerce systems in order to continuously align them with new technology. • Document the web application development process, and draw, implement and maintain a complete and through documentation for all back-end systems. • Implement user-friendly interfaces for the website and enhance the user experience (UX) of all E-Commerce systems. • Improve the site for search engine optimisation and increase online rating. • Address technical queries from public and provide support to website users. • Serve as a contingency for Senior Web Developer on the implementation of technical applications.
Requirements: • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent. • 3 years Web development • Programming languages: Java, Mobile Developer, MySQL Data, CSS • Knowledge of latest web development trends and technologies • Programming methods, procedures and standards • Network and operating system infrastructure • Database design and administration • Code repository systems
