- Basic salary of R25,000 per month for the first 6 months, reducing to R20,000 per month thereafter.
- A leading wealth and investment management firm is seeking an experienced Wealth Planner to grow and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role focuses on acquiring new investment business, building long-term client relationships, providing tailored wealth planning advice, and expanding funds under management. The successful candidate will combine strong investment knowledge with a consultative, sales-driven approach while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and acquire new private clients and investment assets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through professional networks, referrals, and direct business development.
- Provide ongoing wealth planning and investment advisory services to existing clients.
- Conduct client needs analyses and recommend suitable investment solutions.
- Ensure all advice and documentation comply with regulatory requirements and Treating Customers Fairly TCF principles.
- Grow and manage a profitable client portfolio.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Wealth Management, or a related field.
- RE5 qualification and current registration as a Representative on an FSP licence.
- Meets Fit and Proper requirements.
- 2 to 5 years' experience in wealth management, investment advisory, financial planning, or estate planning.
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
- Strong understanding of investment markets, financial instruments, and local and international investment products.
- Excellent relationship-building, networking, sales, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
Advantageous
- Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
- 5 to 10 years' experience in private client wealth management.
