Duties & Responsibilities
Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset. You will be responsible for building your own client portfolio through networking, prospecting, referrals, and developing new business opportunities.
- Networking and prospecting to establish and maintain long-term client relationships ( generate new business via various methods of prospecting and referrals)
- Attend meetings with clients, both in-person and virtual
- Conduct detailed financial needs analysis and provide professional advice
- Create and protect the financial security and wealth of others
- Assist clients in achieving their financial goals and maintain and grow client portfolios
- Assist with queries and complaints
- Do regular client reviews
- Remain accredited and up to date with relevant market and industry related subjects
*This role falls under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Tertiary qualification is preferred (Matric essential)
- Previous experience in an external sales environment is a very strong advantage.
- At least three years full time working experience
- Ability to network, prospect, negotiate and build relationships
- Ability to work independently but as part of a larger team
- Clear credit and criminal record is essential
- Vehicle and driver's license ( non-negotiable )
- Own reliable laptop is required
- Career driven person with determination and excellent interpersonal skills.
