Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a professional, polished and highly organised individual with strong PA experience and at least 3 years of recent exposure to the financial planning or wealth management environment.
Extensive financial planning experience is not required. Someone with around one year of industry exposure and a good general understanding of financial planning could be a strong fit, provided they have excellent administrative capabilities, professionalism and the ability to learn quickly.
Remuneration: Market Related - Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 - Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
Requirements - Previous Personal Assistant (PA) experience is essential. - A minimum of approximately 1 year's exposure to the financial planning / wealth management industry would be sufficient. - Candidates do not need extensive financial planning experience; however, they should have a general understanding of the industry and its processes. - Strong administrative and organisational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Professional, friendly and well-spoken with strong interpersonal skills. - Comfortable working in a client-facing environment. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities. - Smart and well-presented due to the client-facing nature of the position. - Ability to handle confidential client and financial information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive PA and administrative support within the Wealth Management practice. - Assist with day-to-day financial planning administration. - Manage diaries, appointments, meetings and scheduling. - Liaise professionally with clients, financial planners and service providers. - Assist with client queries and ensure appropriate follow-up. - Prepare and maintain client documentation and records. - Assist with applications, forms and supporting financial planning documentation. - Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems. - Coordinate correspondence, emails and telephone communication. - Follow up on outstanding documentation and administrative requirements. - Prepare documentation ahead of client meetings. - Ensure client information is accurately maintained and treated confidentially. - Provide general office and administrative support as required.
