AJP Group is a fast-growing, diversified business with operations spanning retail, property, and service industries. We own and manage a wide range of commercial properties and shopping centres, and we're looking for an experienced Waterproofing & Roofing Supervisor to take ownership of our roofing and waterproofing projects across the group.
This is not a desk-bound role. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can work alongside their team, lead by example, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all roofing and waterproofing activities across AJP Group properties and shopping centres.
- Lead, motivate, and work alongside roofing and maintenance teams.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor roofing and waterproofing projects.
- Conduct site inspections and identify maintenance and repair requirements.
- Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage materials, equipment, and labour resources effectively.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, tenants, and management where required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve roofing and waterproofing issues promptly.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- Proven experience in waterproofing and general roofing supervision.
- Strong practical knowledge of roofing systems, waterproofing methods, repairs, and maintenance.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage and develop teams.
- Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel between sites as required.
Advantageous
- Relevant roofing, construction, maintenance, or trade qualifications.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Experience working on commercial properties, retail centres, or shopping malls.
