About Our Client

Our client is a well-established supplier of ceilings and board products with a strong presence in the construction materials industry. Known for reliability and professional service, they are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to help uphold their high operational standards at their Paarden Eiland branch.

The Role: Warehouse Supervisor

This position is focused on maintaining seamless warehouse operations through proactive leadership, accurate inventory management, and strong logistical oversight. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team, ensure safety compliance, and help maintain customer service excellence by managing all stock and delivery processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Bring a minimum of 2 years of warehouse, logistics, and stock control experience

Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and organisation

Supervise receiving, storage, dispatch, and return of goods to reduce damages and losses

Perform cycle counts and full stock takes, resolving any discrepancies

Manage outbound logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries

Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records on the internal system

Ensure maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and warehouse infrastructure

Lead, train, and support warehouse staff with a focus on operational excellence and customer service

Desired Experience & Qualification

About You

At least 2 years' experience in a warehouse/logistics supervisory role

Grade 12; post-matric qualification advantageous

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong communication and decision-making skills

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability

Able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines

Knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse environment

Reliable own transport essential

Willing to work shifts, extended hours, and alternate Saturdays (7:00–16:00 Mon–Thu, 7:00–14:30 Fri, 8:00–12:00 every second Sat)

Open to potential future night shift requirements
