Our client has been a market leader in the Clearing and Forwarding industry for almost 3 decades! They are looking for their next Warehouse Supervisor! Is that going to be YOU?
Duties & Responsibilities
As their next Warehouse Supervisor, here is what you will do
- Supervise, lead, and manage a warehouse team
- Maintain cost effective resource allocation daily.
- Ensure equipment & building is maintained and services planned & executed on time.
- Ensure timeous submissions of GRV’s/ Outturns/ Load lists/POD’s
- Ensure Import and Export SOH are correct.
- Ensure container/yard SOH are checked daily
Desired Experience & Qualification
Here’s what you will need
- Minimum of 5 years as a Warehouse Supervisor from the Freight/ Clearing and Forwarding industry essential
- Knowledge of General Purchasing Procedures.
- Basic Sea freight & Bond store knowledge essential
- Knowledge of SARS procedures within an LCL environment.
- Must have Port Operations experience.
- Warehouse management systems
- Must have thorough Understanding of Import and Export Procedures.
