Leading pharmaceutical company has a role for a Warehouse Pharmacist whose main role will be maintenance of all warehouse quality systems.
- QA batch release, CAPAS's, deviations
- SOPs, assisting with 3rd-party audits
- Training staff on GWP (Good Warehouse Practice)
- Monitoring receiving, stock counts, dispatch, etc
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance of SOPs: creating, updating and implementation of SOPs.
- Management of warehouse deviations including tracking and ensuring successful closure of deviations.
- Implementation of warehouse CAPAs including tracking and ensuring successful implementations of CAPAs.
- Management of warehouse change control including tracking.
- Training of all staff on GWP and SOPs.
- Conducting monthly self-inspections.
- Co-ordinating third party audits for the warehouse.
- Co-ordinating all warehouse validation projects.
- Temperature and humidity monitoring and managing temperature out of specifications.
- Co-ordinating warehouse technical agreements when delegated by RP (Responsible Pharmacist).
- Monitoring warehouse floor processes (receiving, dispatching, cycle counts and stock control)
- Co-ordination calibration of all warehouse equipment.
- Co-ordinating the sampling process
- Destruction of goods and supervision of destruction.
- Performing stock investigations.
- Initiating risk assessments for the warehouse.
- Participating in Quality Management Reviews.
- Co-ordinating warehouse projects.
- Ensuring warehouse readiness for all audits (SAHPRA, SAPC)
- Assist during stock count bi-annually
- Compile compliance and stock reports on a regular basis.
- Performing any other task as delegated to you by the National Distribution Pharmacist and/or Responsible Pharmacist
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Understanding of Warehouse & Distribution Procedures & Scope of operation
- The capacity to understand site compliances aligned with the pharmaceutical environment and, with this learning, apply this knowledge in a practical manner.
- Team player
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- GWP/GDP training is essential.
- Preferably +1-year QA experience
- Knowledge of Validation Protocols is preferable
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Package & Remuneration
Salary is negotiable, based on specific warehouse experience.
A salary range of R55k to R65k ctc p/m is envisaged for this position.
