- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, workload allocation, and productivity.
- Train, coach, and develop warehouse employees to ensure competency and compliance with SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and company policies.
- Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Monitor stock accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and ensure FIFO principles are followed.
- Coordinate deliveries, transport, and customer order fulfilment.
- Analyse warehouse performance, identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate performance and operational issues to management.
- Foster a positive team culture through effective communication and leadership.
Boxes to tick
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Warehouse or Supply Chain Management.
- Computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems ERP/WMS.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 3 years of proven experience coordinating warehouse operations.
- Valid RSA driver's license with own transport.
