Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our fast-paced FMCG distribution warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations and delivery performance.

Please Note

This position requires hands-on warehouse supervisory experience. Applications from candidates who do not have relevant warehouse leadership experience will not be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor order processing, picking and dispatch to ensure all customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched for next-day delivery.

• Train, coach and upskill warehouse staff to improve productivity, accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Identify operational bottlenecks and make sound, timely decisions to maintain workflow and service levels.

• Manage warehouse layout to maximise efficiency for receiving, storage, picking and stock counts.

• Oversee incoming stock, ensuring all goods are correctly received, stored and organised to maintain warehouse standards and optimise space utilisation.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Proven experience supervising warehouse operations within an FMCG, wholesale or distribution environment.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a warehouse team.

• Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Experience with inventory control, warehouse layouts and dispatch operations.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
