Warehouse Manager - Special Cargo, Warehouse and Distribution (DBN)

Introduction

Our client who is a trusted international freight company is on the hunt for a seasoned Warehouse Manager to join growing diverse team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Special Cargo, Warehouse and Distribution department to ensure efficiency, compliance, and customer focused service delivery.

• Oversee warehouse systems, inventory control, cargo handling, and digital functionality.

• Optimise warehouse operations and ensure efficient delivery.

• Manage sales, quote, and delivery for special cargo.

• Manage sales, quote and operations for Warehousing and Distribution.

• Ensure high levels of customer service by managing client requests and operational requirements.

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, security, and regulatory standards.

• Control departmental budgets, invoices, expenses, and financial performance.

• Lead, coach, and manage the warehouse team to achieve operational objectives.

• Support sales, finance, and debtor management to ensure effective business operations.

• Drive continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, and ensure operational excellence.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain and equivalent.

• At least 8 years' experience in a position of responsibility in logistics/warehousing.

• Warehouse management (inventories, controls).

Package & Remuneration

R45 000 to R75 000 per month (benefits: Medical Aid and Provident Fund)
