Job Overview
An established importer and distributor is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory management and dispatch while maintaining high service standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations
- Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
- Lead, coach and develop warehouse staff
- Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate variances
- Coordinate deliveries and logistics
- Oversee container offloading and imported stock
- Implement warehouse procedures and process improvements
- Prepare warehouse reports and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Qualification in Logistics, Warehouse Management or Supply Chain advantageous
- Minimum 5 years' warehouse management experience
- Minimum 3 years managing warehouse teams
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Valid driver's licence
Advantageous
- Experience within the lighting, electrical, hardware or building supply industry
- Experience with imported stock and container receiving
- Knowledge of electrical products
Package & Remuneration
R25 000.00 to R30 000.00 ctc depending on qualification and experience.
