Are you passionate about creating efficient, safe, and well-structured warehouse operations that support a seamless supply chain? We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, order dispatch, driver coordination, and compliance with safety standards. This role is key to maintaining accurate stock levels, optimizing space and processes, and driving team performance through training and development ensuring reliable, cost-effective support for business needs.
What you’ll do
- Maintain accurate inventory records through effective stock control, cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance management.
- Ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of all orders in line with operational requirements and service level agreements.
- Oversee and maintain high levels of picking accuracy to ensure correct stock is selected, packed, and dispatched.
- Minimise stock losses through effective inventory controls, process compliance, and adherence to warehouse best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Coordinate and monitor driver schedules to ensure the timely execution of deliveries, transfers, and collections.
- Ensure all warehouse employees are adequately trained and competent in systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety requirements.
- Monitor warehouse performance and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Conduct regular stock investigations and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly operational, inventory, and performance reports.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards across all warehouse activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse operations, customer service, and stock management processes.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Diploma or advance Certificate in warehouse or logistics or procurement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package and Infraspeak
- Proven track record in managing teams and improving warehouse performance
- Hands-on approach and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Experience in QSR or Retail.
