Our client, a well-established company based in Milnerton, is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of their warehouse, including receiving, inventory control, dispatch and staff management. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with exceptional organisational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience in single-phase electrical work and lighting products are advantageous. Detail: REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 (Matric) Qualification in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management - advantageous. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Warehouse Manager Minimum 3 years managing a warehouse team. Proven experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, dispatch, and staff A background in single-phase electrical work and lighting products will be highly advantageous. Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills Experience using Warehouse Management Systems. Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Office). Valid South African driver's licence Own reliable transport DUTIES Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receiving, storage and dispatch of stock. Supervise, lead and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, discipline and adherence to company procedures. Oversee inventory control, stock accuracy, cycle counts and regular stock takes to minimise discrepancies. Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are checked, processed and documented accurately. Coordinate deliveries and dispatch schedules to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Monitor warehouse housekeeping and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate warehouse records and generate reports on stock movements, inventory levels and operational performance. Investigate and resolve stock variances, damaged goods and operational issues. Liaise with suppliers, transport providers and internal departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to improve efficiency and maximise available space. Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and serviced when required. Implement and monitor warehouse processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Train and onboard new warehouse employees while monitoring performance and providing ongoing coaching. Ensure security measures are followed to safeguard company stock and assets. Assist with forecasting stock requirements and support procurement by maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
