Job Title: Warehouse Manager – Mining Industry Start Date: 2026-07-30 - 2026-08-29 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA001801 Sectors: Logistics, Warehouse & Freight Mining and Quarrying Location: Limpopo , Bela-Bela Salary: (Market related) Brief: makopane|warehouse controller|warehouse manager Warehouse Manager – Mining Industry One of our clients, a leading mining organisation, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join its operations based in Mokopane, Limpopo . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control and distribution of materials, equipment and consumables required to support mining and project activities. The role requires strong leadership, inventory management expertise and close collaboration with procurement, supply chain, maintenance, engineering and site operations to ensure materials are available safely, accurately and on time. Detail: Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Materials Management, Business Management, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years' experience in warehouse or materials management within the mining, construction, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Warehouse Manager or Supervisory role. Proven experience managing warehouse operations supporting mining or large-scale industrial projects. Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, stock management and materials handling. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, Oracle, Syspro or similar warehouse management systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience managing warehouse personnel, contractors and service providers. Knowledge of procurement processes, goods receiving, stock issuing and inventory reconciliation. Strong leadership, organisational and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving, communication and reporting abilities. Understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements within a mining environment. Willingness to work on-site in Mokopane, Limpopo. Roles and Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient and uninterrupted support to mining and project activities. Oversee the receiving, storage, issuing and dispatch of materials, equipment and consumables. Ensure warehouse operations comply with company procedures and industry best practices. Optimise warehouse layouts, storage locations and material flow to maximise efficiency. Monitor warehouse performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Inventory Management Ensure accurate inventory control and stock management across all warehouse operations. Monitor stock levels and ensure critical materials remain available to support operational requirements. Oversee routine cycle counts, stock takes and inventory reconciliations. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Ensure accurate recording of stock movements within the ERP system. Materials & Logistics Coordination Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely receipt of materials and equipment. Monitor supplier deliveries and resolve receiving discrepancies. Ensure efficient issuing of materials to maintenance, engineering, production and project teams. Coordinate the movement of materials between warehouse locations and project sites where required. Monitor slow-moving, obsolete and excess inventory and recommend appropriate actions. People Management Lead, supervise and develop warehouse personnel to ensure high levels of productivity and performance. Allocate daily tasks and monitor employee performance against operational targets. Conduct training and coaching to improve warehouse procedures, safety and inventory management. Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment. Ensure adequate staffing levels to support operational requirements. Reporting & Administration Prepare daily, weekly and monthly warehouse performance reports. Monitor key performance indicators relating to inventory accuracy, stock availability and warehouse efficiency. Maintain accurate warehouse records and supporting documentation. Ensure all warehouse transactions are processed accurately and timeously. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and inventory records. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Finance and Project Teams. Attend operational meetings to provide updates on warehouse performance and inventory availability. Liaise with suppliers and transport providers regarding deliveries and logistics. Ensure effective communication between warehouse operations and site departments. Support operational planning by ensuring material availability aligns with maintenance and production schedules. Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with company warehouse procedures, inventory control policies and statutory requirements. Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards within the warehouse. Ensure materials are stored safely and in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements. Monitor housekeeping standards and ensure a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy and operational performance. Closing Date: Submissions for this vacancy will close on 6 August 2026 .
