Our client has been operating for almost half a century and is one of the largest Multimodal Logistics operators within Africa, employing over 20 000 employees in 50 countries. They are on the serious lookout for the next superstar Warehouse Manager!
Duties & Responsibilities
As their new Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for
- Full end to end Management of all Warehousing and Distribution activities
- Providing logistics support
- Ensure adherence on all company policies and procedures.
- Managing inventory, coordinating logistics, supervising staff, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Managing warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring safety compliance, and optimising operational processes to meet business objectives.
Desired Experience & Qualification
You’ll need
- A minimum of 10 years as a Warehouse Manager from the Freight Forwarding industry essential
- Matric plus Logistics/ Supply Chain Degree
- Matric essential
- Experience in WMS Systems
- Clearing and Forwarding experience
- Fleet and Transportation Management
- Bond Store experience
- Health and Safety experience
