Warehouse Manager (FMCG, SAP, AX, Oracle, ISASTORE) (JHB Onsite)

Duties & Responsibilities

ENVIRONMENT: A leading Retailer urgently seeks a highly driven Warehouse Manager with at least 5 years’ FMCG experience to take charge of the full Inbound to Dispatch operations at its Joburg site. You will ensure the timely, cost-effective distribution of goods while overseeing the transportation of goods from Warehouse to relevant branches within optimal time and at a low cost. Your duties will also include ensuring OHASA/Safety Regulations are adhered to, Fleet Management, participating in the development of the Supply Chain strategy while monitoring and assessing staff. The successful incumbent will need Matric/Grade 12, a Degree/Diploma in Logistics with 5 years’ experience as a Warehouse Manager in an FMCG environment including proficiency with Excel, SAP, AX, Oracle & ISASTORE. You will also require solid knowledge of Distribution, Labour Relations, Project Management and possess a valid Code 10 Drivers License and own vehicle. DUTIES:

• Schedule deliveries to branches.
• Housekeeping and Security.
• Adhere to OHASA / safety regulations within the Warehouse.
• Manage stocktake procedure and stock inventory.
• Staff Management.
• Identify and meet the training needs of staff.
• Maintain accurate staff records.
• Coach and mentor staff.
• Ensure staff perform their various duties accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure staff adhere to control systems established.
• Ensure that staff adhere to all administrative duties.
• Resolve queries promptly and as per organisation policy and procedure.
• Vehicles are maintained as per organisational requirements.
• Fleet Management.
• Ensure that vehicles are scheduled for maintenance regularly and that they are kept in good clean operating condition at all times.
• Plan, organise and delegate work activities.
• Arrange training and development interventions in accordance with training needs identified of the individual, team and branch.
• Develop and/or participate in the development of the Supply Chain strategy for the organisation.
• Create a positive working environment.
• Facilitate a smooth, transparent internal branch communication process.
• Recognise and utilise all available methods of communication, as appropriate to the nature of the query.
• Know and identify which information resources can be utilised efficiently resolve queries raised and to communicate changes.
• Ensure staff adhere to established organisational policies and procedures.
• Ensure staff perform their various duties accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and assess staff.
• Manage ESS records for various leave types.
• Ensure Supply Chain KPIs are met (OTIF), Inventory Accuracy, Dock-to-Stock.
• Ensure staff meet individual KPIs - Work Rate, Accuracy, Continuous improvement, Increased efficiency, Reduced or maintained cost.
• Oversee functional departments work in sync.

REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications –

• Matric / Grade 12.
• A Logistics Degree/Diploma.

Experience/Skills –

• 5 Years’ experience as a Warehouse Manager in a FMCG environment.
• WMS background –

• SAP
• AX
• Oracle
• ISASTORE
• SCALE an advantage
