WAREHOUSE MANAGER - CENTURION

Introduction

GSI Talent Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations in Centurion .

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate stock management, effective staff supervision, and the timely receiving, storage, picking and dispatching of goods.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse

• Oversee receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing and dispatching of stock

• Ensure accurate inventory records and effective stock control

• Conduct and manage regular stock counts and investigations into variances

• Supervise, train and manage warehouse personnel

• Allocate daily duties and monitor staff productivity

• Ensure orders are processed and dispatched accurately and on time

• Monitor warehouse space and ensure efficient storage of stock

• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and records

• Liaise with procurement, sales, finance, production and logistics teams

• Monitor stock movements and investigate discrepancies

• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements and operational procedures

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric / Grade 12

• Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management or a related field will be advantageous

• 3–5 years' experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role

• Strong experience in stock control and inventory management

• Experience managing and supervising warehouse staff

• Computer literate with good MS Excel skills

• Experience with warehouse management systems / ERP systems

• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous

• Strong knowledge of warehouse health and safety procedures
