Importer and distributor of technical hardware in Cape Town is looking for an experienced warehouse manager to take control the full warehouse function including receiving, despatch, stock control and people management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and control receipt and dispatch function
- Manage a staff compliment of approximately 6 to assure fast and efficient deliveries to branches and customers
- Continuously review warehouse lay out to optimize space utilization
- Continuously review systems and processes to keep up with forever evolving and fast-growing organization
- Manage stock levels and shrinkage
- Control cost and productivity
- Control and maintain delivery fleet
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 5 years senior warehouse management experience and a proven track record
- High level of computer literacy
- Pastel experience will be an advantage
- Team player with strong leadership skills and ability to manage staff
Package & Remuneration
Package is market related depending on experience
