Grade 12 (Matric).
• National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Materials Management, Business Management, or a related field. • Minimum of 8 years' experience in warehouse or materials management within the mining, construction, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Warehouse Manager or Supervisory role. • Proven experience managing warehouse operations supporting mining or large-scale industrial projects. • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, stock management and materials handling. • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, Oracle, Syspro or similar warehouse management systems. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. • Experience managing warehouse personnel, contractors and service providers. • Knowledge of procurement processes, goods receiving, stock issuing and inventory reconciliation. • Strong leadership, organisational and people management skills. • Excellent problem-solving, communication and reporting abilities. • Understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements within a mining environment. • Willingness to work on-site in Mokopane, Limpopo. Roles and Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient and uninterrupted support to mining and project activities. • Oversee the receiving, storage, issuing and dispatch of materials, equipment and consumables. • Ensure warehouse operations comply with company procedures and industry best practices. • Optimise warehouse layouts, storage locations and material flow to maximise efficiency. • Monitor warehouse performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Inventory Management
• Ensure accurate inventory control and stock management across all warehouse operations. • Monitor stock levels and ensure critical materials remain available to support operational requirements. • Oversee routine cycle counts, stock takes and inventory reconciliations. • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. • Ensure accurate recording of stock movements within the ERP system. Materials & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely receipt of materials and equipment.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and resolve receiving discrepancies.
- Ensure efficient issuing of materials to maintenance, engineering, production and project teams.
