Our client is a well-established industrial bulk handling, chemical supply, and warehousing group operating across major port and logistics hubs in South Africa.
The Warehouse / Logistics Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics coordination, and team leadership, ensuring smooth receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and material handling workflows.
- Coordinate transport, logistics, and distribution functions to ensure timely turnarounds.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse personnel to maintain high productivity and safety standards.
- Implement effective stock control measures and reconcile inventory reports.
- Streamline receiving, storage, and dispatch processes for bulk and containerised goods.
- Solve operational challenges and optimize logistics workflows.
Requirements
- Relevant degree (e.g., BCom in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Management) preferred .
- Proven track record in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
- Practical experience within warehousing, distribution, import, or industrial logistics environments.
- Stable employment history demonstrating long-term commitment and career progression.
- Strong leadership, operational management, and problem-solving capabilities.
