The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction/building materials. Requirements: Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, stock control or materials coordination Experience within the construction, building materials or related industry is highly advantageous Experience with BuildSmart is highly preferred Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory management and warehouse procedures Experience receiving, issuing, checking and tracking materials and stock Good understanding of logistics, deliveries and supplier coordination Strong administrative and record-keeping abilities Computer literate Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks Valid driver's licence Must be immediately available Must reside in Bloemfontein Responsibilities: Coordinate the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations Receive, inspect, record and correctly store incoming building materials and stock Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records Process stock movements, issues, transfers and related documentation Coordinate the ordering, collection and delivery of materials with suppliers and transport providers Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, shortages and discrepancies Use BuildSmart to capture and maintain purchasing, stock and materials-related information Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stock counts and reconciliations Ensure materials are correctly allocated and available for projects when required Monitor incoming and outgoing deliveries and ensure supporting documentation is maintained Maintain an organised, safe and efficient warehouse/storeroom Identify stock discrepancies, shortages, damages and potential stock losses Assist with procurement and materials planning where required Ensure warehouse and logistics activities comply with company procedures and health and safety requirements If you do not receive feedback within 5 days, please consider your application as unsuccessful. 078 619 0724 show more...
