Our client a leading cold storage facility is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Warehouse Lead to join their growing team. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will drive operational success, lead high-performing teams, and contribute to strategic growth in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement and support the warehouse operations plan.
- Manage and monitor revenue, expenses, and budget preparation.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Drive continuous personal and team development.
- Manage maintenance, control, and inventory of equipment.
- Uphold company values and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Ensure health and safety standards are consistently met.
- Drive performance excellence and operational efficiency.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Experience: 3-5 years in logistics or supply chain management
- Qualifications: Matric + NQF Level 6 qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics
- Food Safety Management Systems
- Material handling equipment
- Understanding of basic maintenance
- Financial control and reporting
- Heavy movement equipment maintenance and inventory control
- Safety and compliance management
- Reporting and analytical skills
- Leadership and people management
- Strong communication and adaptability
