We are seeking a reliable, results-driven Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, drive team performance and ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow the transfer process as per SOP
- Achieve warehouse targets as specified by management
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Supervise the team to develop and maintain positive working relationships and reach objectives
- Assist with staff performance development to drive productivity
- Maintain health and safety standards, including hazard-free work areas and emergency exit access
- Ensure staff compliance with OHS activities and procedures, reporting unsafe conditions to HSE
- Ensure compliance with food safety policies, cleaning and pest management programmes
- Maintain traceability processes for effective product recall
- Support the continual improvement of the Food Safety Management System
- Project the desired brand image to customers and stakeholders
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4
- Valid Forklift License
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Kairos, C-Works, Pastel)
- Knowledge and understanding of storage and inventory management
- Knowledge of ISO 22000 regulations
- Strong communication, teamwork, planning and organising skills
- Reliability and ability to achieve results
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
- Resilience and ability to cope under pressure
