Introduction

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse & Inventory Manager to take full responsibility for a busy warehouse operation managing thousands of SKU’s.

This role is suited to a proactive leader with a proven track record in inventory management, warehouse operations, team leadership, and continuous process improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional inventory accuracy, efficient warehouse operations, and a safe, well-organised working environment.

We are looking for someone who understands that successful warehouse management is built on disciplined processes, attention to detail, accountability, and strong people leadership—not simply ensuring that orders are dispatched on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Oversee all receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns activities.
  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through structured cycle counts, stock takes, reconciliations, and effective inventory control processes.
  • Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded within the ERP/Warehouse Management System.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes, controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and company policies.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, facilities, and housekeeping to the highest standard.
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments and transport providers to ensure seamless warehouse operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a warehouse with end-to-end responsibility for inventory, receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and returns.
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining high inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stock investigations, and stock reconciliation.
  • Experience managing a warehouse with several thousand SKUs.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage warehouse teams.
  • Sound knowledge of warehouse best practices, inventory control principles, and operational planning.
  • Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a process-driven approach.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to play a key role within a growing and dynamic business.
  • A collaborative, professional working environment where operational excellence is valued.
  • Competitive remuneration aligned with qualifications, skills, and experience.
