Warehouse Inbound Manager

Introduction

Overview

An experienced Warehouse Inbound Manager is required to lead inbound warehouse operations, including Receiving, Inventory Control, Credit & Returns, Administration, and Housekeeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring stock accuracy, operational efficiency, process compliance, and effective team leadership within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving and inbound warehouse operations.

• Oversee stock receiving, checking, barcoding, and processing activities.

• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock takes, and variance investigations.

• Manage credit and returns processes and warehouse administration.

• Maintain warehouse housekeeping, safety, and compliance standards.

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams while managing performance and productivity.

• Monitor costs, labour utilisation, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification.

• 5+ years' warehouse operations experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.

• Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, and warehouse management processes.

• Experience with stock takes, cycle counts, and inventory investigations.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety and OHSA requirements.

• Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Strong reporting, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
