About the role We seek a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Trade Center in Randburg. The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for maintaining the overall organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse and Trade Centre, ensuring products are correctly barcoded, labelled, and merchandised, and verifying stock levels daily. This role ensures efficient stock movement and replenishment between the central warehouse and the Trade Centre. Duties & Responsibilities

Product Barcoding

• Ensure all products in the Trade Centre are accurately barcoded. • Regularly check and update barcodes as necessary. Stock Merchandising:

  • Arrange all stock in the Trade Centre according to set merchandising standards.
  • Maintain an organised and visually appealing display of products.

Warehouse Cleanliness

• Clean customer areas daily, including floors, parking areas, windows, shelving, racking, and products. • Ensure the Trade Centre always maintains a professional and welcoming appearance. Daily Stock Counting and Verification:

  • Count all items in the Trade Centre weekly.
  • Verify counted items against the ERP system for accuracy.
  • Report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager immediately.

Stock Movement Accuracy

• Ensure all transfers are correctly documented and recorded in the ERP system. Stock Replenishment:

  • Replenish stock levels in the Trade Centre from the central warehouse according to bin set levels.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure continuous product availability.

Product Identification

  • Ensure every product has a product identification label on the shelf.
  • Update labels as necessary to maintain accurate product information.

Desired Experience & Qualification

About You

  • National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, logistics environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Knowledge of basic computer systems for inventory tracking is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with OHSA regulations and safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
