Job Title: Warehouse Assistant Start Date: 2026-08-18 - 2026-09-14 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA001093 Sectors: Other Location: Gauteng , Johannesburg Salary: R 10000 - R 12000 Brief: Our client is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Johannesburg Detail: Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently. Loading, moving and handling stock, including items weighing up to approximately 40 kg. Assisting with regular stock takes and stock control. General warehouse housekeeping and maintaining a clean and organised working environment. Operating a forklift once the required training and licence have been completed. Assisting with general warehouse duties as required. Following company procedures relating to health, safety and stock handling. Using computer systems and digital filing processes as the company operates largely paperless. Requirements Previous warehouse or picking experience is not required. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour. Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively in a busy environment. Basic computer literacy. Comfortable working with Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft OneDrive. A valid driver's licence would be an advantage but is not essential. Own transport is not required, although the successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and covering their own travel to and from work. Must be willing to complete forklift training and obtain the required licence. Must be prepared to work in a predominantly male warehouse environment.
