Start free — we apply for you →We are a flooring importer and distributor based in Epping 1, Cape Town. We are looking for a Warehouse Storeman to assist our Warehouse Manager with the daily operations of our business and overseeing the warehouse team, processes and procedures. Our workday starts at 7:30am and we operate Monday - Friday.
Key Functions and Responsibilities
• Dispatch - overseeing/picking, packing and dispatch of orders both local and freighted • Goods receiving - receiving, inspecting, verifying inventory and other materials • Warehouse administration - collating and scanning PODs • Stock control - leading monthly cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, damages etc • General oversight - ensuring warehouse is in clean and orderly condition, safety rules are observed etc

Skills and Experience
• Ability to drive a forklift • Numerical and record keeping skills • Functional understanding of warehousing systems (FIFO etc) • Practical experience in warehousing procedures and inventory control • Experience overseeing daily operations and leading a team
Minimum Requirements
In addition to the above skills and experience, the candidate must have
• Matric pass • Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport • Forklift License
Due to the nature of the job, the candidate must be physically fit and capable of operating equipment and lifting heavy objects.
