Detail: Requirements: Ability to communicate efficiently and promptly. Ability to manage reporting functions. High proficiency in Pastel and Pastel reporting. High proficiency in Excel. Numerical efficiency. Knowledge of Inventory Management. Should be familiar with warehouse procedures and have good communication skills to interact with internal teams. Own reliable transport is essential. Responsibilities: Assist the Warehouse Manager with the operation of the Durban warehouse and assist with incoming and outgoing loads, preparing paperwork and load checks. Monitor stock, review packing lists and confirm stock availability after unpacking to ensure products are available for dispatch. Ensure products are stored correctly and efficiently. Manage stock movements between various branches. Investigate and resolve inventory errors or mismatches. Supervise and dispatch samples. Oversee the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring all staff comply with company procedures. Ensure all incoming goods are checked for damage and accuracy against inwards goods notification paperwork and report any discrepancies. Coordinate dispatch, ensuring goods match outgoing documentation and are packed and labelled correctly. Enforce safety procedures, regulations and company policies throughout the warehouse. Manage company vehicle maintenance, including servicing, repairs and general upkeep. Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to gain knowledge of all warehouse functions and responsibilities. Provide backup support for the Warehouse Manager during periods of absence. Assist with Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes, including label creation for warehouse pallets. Take on additional responsibilities following the initial training programme as the role evolves.
