Well established logistcs company in the FMCG (food) industry is looking for a Warehouse assistant to join their dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting with dispatching
- Checking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Assisting with stock control procedures
- Assist with offloading and checking stock (receiving)
- Assist with physical stock counts
- Reporting of short dated, expired or damaged stock
- Assist with warehouse operations and inpection records for FSA audits
- Forklift driving
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- Forklift licence advatageous
- Drivers licence code 10
- Minimum 3 to 5 years proven experience in warehouse operations
- FMCG food distribution experience ideal
- Food Safety Assessment (FSA) ideal
- Computer literacy - Excel
