Duties/Responsibilities: Directing the receipt of finished product from production through to put away, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch. Owning finished goods and service item inventory accuracy, security and valuation integrity, including cycle counting and wall-to-wall stock counts. Reconciling production declarations against warehouse receipts and resolving variances to root cause. Planning outbound distribution, managing third-party transporters and clearing agents, and driving on-time, in-full delivery performance. Leading, developing and managing the performance of a warehouse and logistics team of 20 or more employees. Discharging the duties of a manager under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 in the area of responsibility. Managing the departmental budget and reporting monthly on inventory, delivery and safety performance. Maintaining ERP data integrity and driving continuous improvement in warehouse layout, process flow and documentation.
