Our client in the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Warehouse and Distribution Manager to ensure operational efficiencies and optimisation levels are achieved in the warehouse and distribution environment, whilst maintaining alignment with business operations Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Warehouse Management/ Distribution/ Logistics (NQF 6)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Warehouse Management/ Distribution/ Logistics (NQF 7) will be advantageous
- 5 years’ experience in warehouse or distribution/ logistics in a manufacturing environment, of which up to 3 years should be at a supervisory level
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite and other relevant discipline-specific software programs

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, receiving, storage, packing and dispatch
- Oversee stock control, stocktakes, reconciliations and variance investigations
- Coordinate distribution planning, export packing and third-party logistics
- Ensure compliance with SHE, quality, security and operational procedures
- Lead, develop and supervise warehouse staff
- Monitor budgets, control costs and drive operational efficiencies
