Warehouse Manager – FMCG
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee our fast-paced FMCG warehouse operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient stock management, streamlined logistics, and the timely distribution of goods while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity
- Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control
- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff to achieve performance targets
- Implement and maintain health & safety standards and compliance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiencies
- Coordinate with procurement, transport, and supply chain teams
- Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports for senior management
- Manage warehouse budgets, costs, and resource planning
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager within the FMCG sector
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics
- Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of health & safety regulations
- Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar (advantageous)
