WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR / SUPERVISOR - GERMISTON (5332)

Introduction

Our client is seeking a reliable, motivated, detail-orientated and proactive Warehouse Administrator to join their operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operation in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily processing of orders including documentation preparation, labels, courier booking and logistics for deliveries

• Supervise a team of 5-10 warehouse staff and ensuring, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes are done timeously in accordance with SLA requirements and ensuring high levels of accuracy are maintained

• Oversee the unloading, handling and putting away of received stock

• Manage and review processed returns, including determining corrective actions and advise on updating product listings accordingly

• Handle and resolve follow-ups and disputes related to rejected stock (inbound exceptions)

• Assist in the reconciliation of courier accounts

• Conduct regular inventory counts and perform ad hoc inventory verifications as required

• Plan and oversee scheduled inventory audits and stock counts

• Provide hands-on support in assembling items where necessary, ensuring product accuracy and readiness

• Support customer service by assisting with technical or assembly-related inquiries and collaborating with the customer support team to ensure customer satisfaction

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12 or equivalent

• 3 or more years’ experience is required

• Post secondary education in logistics or warehouse management is advantageous

• Advanced skilled on Excel (spreadsheets & formulas)

• Ability to provide KPI’s

• Good communication skills

• Able to work under pressure

• Reliable transport
