Job Title: Voice Picker Start Date: 2026-03-26 - 2026-10-31 Vacancy Type: Temp CPT000996 Sectors: Other Part Time / Temp Warehousing / Logistics / Manufacturing Location: South Africa - Western Cape , Cape Town - North (Goodwood - Blackheath) Salary: Brief: general worker|picker|voice An opportunity is available for a skilled Warehouse Assistant to perform specialised duties within a busy Distribution Centre. This role includes responsibilities such as quality control, picking, and pallet building, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in line with operational standards. Detail: Location: Kuilstiver Rate : R32 p/h Key Responsibilities Distribution & Picking Accurately receive and follow picking instructions via voice picking (Talkman) system Select correct SKUs according to system-generated instructions Ensure high levels of picking accuracy at all times Report empty locations or stock shortages to Supervisor or Team Leader Select appropriate cartons to prevent stock damage Ensure all cartons comply with packaging standards Request or select new cartons as required Load completed cartons onto the distribution belt for sealing Equipment Handling Handle voice picking (Talkman) equipment with care and according to operational standards Reporting & Performance Maintain productivity in line with hourly picking targets Contribute to reporting processes including pick reports and stock discrepancy reports Support accurate stock control by identifying and reporting faults or shortages Minimum Requirements Education: Minimum Grade 10 Experience: Must have previous voice picking (Talkman) experience Previous warehouse, picking, or distribution experience required Skills & Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow system-driven instructions Good communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Team player with a proactive attitude Basic numeracy and literacy skills Physical Requirements Physically fit and able to work long hours Ability to lift and move stock as required Good eyesight to read and identify SKUs accurately show more...
