Can you turn technical customer challenges into commercially successful valve and pump solutions? Duties & Responsibilities
A leading engineering solutions provider is looking for an experienced External Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth across Gauteng.
This role requires a proactive sales professional who can identify opportunities, engage technical decision-makers and provide value-driven valve and pump solutions to customers across complex industrial markets.
Education
- Technical qualification advantageous
- Mechanical Engineering qualification advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years' external technical sales experience
- Proven valve and pump sales experience
- Experience selling into uranium plants, water and wastewater, mining, process plants, food and beverage, and oil and gas industries
- Strong hunter profile with demonstrated new business development success
- Excellent account management, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand customer applications and recommend appropriate technical solutions
- Own reliable vehicle
- Valid driver's licence
