Validation Manager

Take ownership of the Validation Department by managing resource allocation, operational priorities, and budgets. Develop, coach, and manage performance & discipline of validation team to achieve operational objectives Ensure validation plans, protocols and reports are compiled and implemented to ensure continued compliance at all times Oversee validation activities for new equipment, systems and processes while maintaining the site’s validated state Evaluate results from executed, validated protocols and maintain an audit compliant state of validation Manage qualification and requalification activities for equipment and utilities with QC and Production teams Manage change controls to ensure compliant status of affected equipment is not compromised Oversee compliance with strategic and operating guidelines/ policies for the department Ensure record-keeping complies with legal requirements and provide input into changes in policies in this regard Provide recommendations for development of risk-based compliance systems in order to improve overall compliance performance Qualification: Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy or Engineering (Post-Graduate qualification is advantageous) Experience: 10 Years’ related experience, including management/leadership experience Experience in validation techniques and qualification principles in the Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge of control, instrumentation and electrical systems
